Galerie Caroline started its activities in 2011. With a focus on the art of the Marquesas, an area where we had the opportunity to return to multiple times, Polynesia is at the heart of a long felt passion. Since that time we have been able to share some special art with a wide audience. Do not hesitate to ask us about any of the items presented in our collection.

UNESCO
The Marquesas Islands, or Te Henua Enata ("Land of Men"), were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in July 2024 for their exceptional mixed natural and cultural significance. Located in French Polynesia, this archipelago is recognized for its unique, dramatic volcanic landscapes, rich biodiversity, and as a key center of Marquesan culture, featuring ancient archaeological sites,, woodcarving, and tattooing.
